Headaches

There are many different types of headaches.

The main way of diagnosing these headaches is to determine which area of the head feels pain.

For example, migraine type headaches are often one sided, around the temporal region, affecting one eye. This area of the head relates to the liver and gall bladder meridians and treatment will be aimed at regulating the energy and correcting imbalance.

Frontal headaches are associated with the stomach meridian. These headaches are often associated with imbalances in the digestive system.

When treating headaches I use points on the meridians to treat the internal problem and to release tension in the neck and shoulders.
